VELUX Sun tunnel is recommended for installation in hallways, bathrooms and other rooms with no natural light and where conversion of the loft space above is not an option. It is not recommended for rooms such as living rooms, kitchens or bedrooms. In these spaces VELUX roof windows will always provide a superior result.
VELUX Sun tunnel is to all intents and purposes heat neutral, providing light without appreciable heat gain in summer and with negligible heat loss in winter.

VELUX Sun tunnel signals the end of dim and dismal spaces in the home. VELUX Sun tunnel brings natural light into even the darkest and most isolated spaces through a specially designed tunnel from roof to ceiling.
Good looks - outdoors and indoors
Owing to the dark-coloured, flat, square frame and flashing in polyurethane and its clear and robust glass, the VELUX Sun tunnel goes well with any roof, in the same style as VELUX roof windows.
The attractive and discreet ceiling diffuser unit with its acrylic pane melts into the ceiling, spreading a soft and restful light throughout the room. The tunnel between the roof and the diffuser is 35 cm in diameter and takes up a minimum of space in the loft.

Extension tunnel ZTR
|

Extension tunnel ZTR is recommended for installations with TWR in which the distance from top edge of batten to ceiling finish level is more than 1.85 metre. ZTR is 90cm long, and considering a 3cm overlap at both ends, each ZTR can add to the total length of the tunnel by 84cm. ZTR in combination with TWR can be used for tunnel lengths of up to 6m.

Ventilation outlet ZTV
|

Ventilation outlet ZTV (only available for TWF/TWR) supplements the existing ventilation in the room. ZTV is fitted to the inside of the VELUX Sun tunnel Rooflight unit. The installation is completed with an insulated ventilation tube and a mechanical ventilator to be provided by the customer.
